Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Cell
The Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Cell is constituted in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, to provide a safe, secure, and respectful working and learning environment for all employees and students.
The POSH Cell is committed to preventing, prohibiting, and redressing sexual harassment at the workplace and ensuring dignity, equality, and mutual respect.
Objectives of the POSH Cell
- To create awareness about sexual harassment and its prevention
- To provide a safe mechanism for reporting complaints
- To ensure prompt and confidential redressal of complaints
- To promote gender sensitivity and respectful workplace behaviour
- To comply with statutory obligations under the POSH Act, 2013
