B.E – ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in 2008 with the primary goal of offering practical education in Electrical Engineering. Since then, it has provided undergraduate (UG) degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering since 2008, and postgraduate (PG) degrees in Power Systems Engineering starting in 2012 and Power Electronics and Drives from 2014.From its inception, the department has continuously enhanced its infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of the core industries, preparing students for the real working environment by updating both hardware and software.

Our Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department boasts state-of-the-art laboratories equipped with highly efficient machinery, ensuring that all instruments are well-maintained and licensed software is available for laboratory use. Our dedicated faculty members specialize in various fields, such as Power Electronics, Power Systems, and Soft Computing. To foster a sense of community and innovation, the department established the “EIFEL” association in 2010. This partnership with EIFEL facilitates various technical events, including symposiums, conferences, workshops, seminars, and faculty development programs. We encourage students to engage in activities such as paper presentations, technical quizzes, software debugging, sports, NSS, YRC, and cultural events. Furthermore, students are motivated to pursue annual In-Plant Training and gain valuable industry exposure through organized industrial visits.
